Below you'll find the birthmoms we are currently working with.  Each birthmother is first introduced to families who have signed with us.  

Sometimes, however, we have birthmothers who are not a good fit with our existing couples.  In those situations, we open our search to families across the country.

Hope                                                        

Caucasian baby due 1-21-10

Hope is 28 years old, 5' 1" tall and as cute as can be.  She has blue eyes and blonde hair.  In the past Hope has used some meth and alcohol but says she is drug-free now and is willing to be tested throughout the pregnancy.  She does smoke about ten cigarettes a day.  Hope relinquished a baby through our practice last year and had a wonderful experience with the adoptive parents who have stayed in touch through photos, emails, letters, phone calls and a visit this spring.  Last year's adoptive parents are not ready for another baby, but they are willing to talk to any families that are seriously interested in working with Hope.  

The birthfather, Kenneth, is 25 years old, 5'8" tall with brown eyes and brown hair.  He knows about the pregnancy and will agree to the adoption.  Hope and Kenneth are no longer together, so he will not be actively participating in picking out the adoptive parents.  

Hope is looking for a heterosexual couple who will stay in touch with her after the birth.

Caucasian/Hispanic boy due mid-November

Kalie has an appointment for a mid-trimester abortion. She will have the procedure next week if we do not find her adoptive parents.

Kalie is Caucasian, 20 years old, 5' 3" tall with beautiful green eyes and light brown hair.  She smokes a few cigarettes a day but does not drink alcohol or use illegal drugs.  Kalie has been tested for drugs, and the results have been negative.  Kalie is a single mom with a two year old little girl, and she knows that she is not able to parent another baby alone.  

The birthfather, Miguel, is Hispanic, 5' 9 " tall and weighs 175 lbs.  He has borwn eyes and brown hair.  He works as a landscaper, and Kalie describes him as a nice, outgoing guy with a great sense of humor.   

Kalie is looking for a heterosexual couple or a financially stable single mom.  Ideally she would love a family that lives on a farm or out in the country.  She would like to get to know the family during the pregnancy and receive letters and photos after the birth.

Caucasian girl due 8-6-09

Renee is 25 years old and of Dutch descent.  She is 5' 5" tall and weighs 155 lbs.  Renee has hazel eyes and black hair.  A single mom with two young children, she cannot afford to raise a third baby alone.  Renee is a very intelligent and pretty young woman and is in excellent health. 

Brian, the birthfather, is 6' tall, 180 lbs. and of German/French descent.  He has blue eyes and sandy blonde hair.  He comes from a well-educated family and is intelligent and very mechanical.  He loves the outdoors and is in excellent health.  Brian knows about the pregnancy and agrees to the adoption.  

Renee is looking for a heterosexual couple or a single mom to adopt her baby.  She would like to meet the family before the birth but has not decided whether or not she wants to remain in contact afterward.

Kara                                                            

Caucasian girl due 11-14-09

Kara is of Welsh and Italian descent.  She is a petite 27 year old, 5' 1" tall and weighs 100 lbs.   She has hazel eyes and brown hair.  Kara smokes three to five cigarettes a day but does not drink alcohol or use illegal drugs.  She has full medical coverage for the pregnancy and birth.  Kara was an "A" student in high school and loves learning new things.  Her favorite TV programs are on the History and Discovery Channel, and she describes herself as a "nerdy bookworm."   

William is 36 years old, 5' 9" tall and weighs 180 lbs.  He has blue eyes and brown hair and does not drink alcohol or use illegal drugs.  William and Kara are good friends and he knows about the pregnancy and agrees with the adoption.  He says he is not in a position to raise a baby at this time, and he knows that Kara is not either.  William does not wish to be involved in the adoption and says he will happily sign the papers.  

Kara would like a heterosexual couple.  She wants to get to know them during the pregnancy and wants photos and letters after the birth.  She may want an occassional visit, but she is not sure yet.

Tina                                                           

3/4/ Caucasian // 1/4 Hispanic baby due 11-1-09

Tina is of Polish descent, 29 years old, 5' 7" tall and weighs 155 lbs.  She has brown hair with hazel eyes.  Tina smokes five cigarettes a day and is trying to cut them out completely.  She did some meth and pot before she knew she was pregnant but says she has stopped and is willing to be tested throughout the pregnancy.  She is a single mom and knows she cannot take care of another baby at this time.  

Joey's mom is French/English and Irish and his dad is Hispanic.  Joey is 31 years old, 6'2" and weighs 220 lbs.  He has brown eyes and dark brown hair.  Joey knows about the pregnancy and thinks that adoption is the best choice for the baby.  

Tina is open to all families.  She would like the adoptive parents to be present at the birth, and she hasn't decided yet whether or not she wants to stay in contact after the baby is born.

Caucasian girl due 9-10-09

Elizabeth is 20 years old and of German/Irish decent.  She is 5'7" tall and weighs 110 lbs.  She has blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.  Elizabeth smokes two to three cigarettes a day and does not drink alcohol or use illegal drugs.  Elizabeth did some meth before she knew she was pregnant but has stopped completely. 

Her drug screening on 5-13-09 came back negative for alcohol and all illegal drugs.  Elizabeth has agreed to be tested weekly for drugs and alcohol throughout the entire pregnancy.  She knows how important eating well and taking care of herself is for the baby.

Elizabeth was referred to us by her own mother who is 110% supportive of an adoption.  Initially Elizabeth elected to abort, but when she went for the procedure she found out she was too far along.  Adoption, she believes, is the next best option.

Malcom is of Irish and Dutch descent.  He is 20 years old, 6' tall and weighs 160 lbs.  He has blue eyes and red hair.  Malcom knows about the pregnancy and agrees that adoption is the best option.  He does not want to be involved in picking out the family but will sign the papers.  

Elizabeth will consider all family types -- single parents, traditional couples and same-sex families.  She wants to meet the family and get to know them during the pregnancy.  She would like them there for the delivery and wants the baby placed in the nursery immediately after birth.  Elizabeth wants pictures and letters until the child is 18 years old.  If at 18 years of age the child wants to find her, she wants them to agree to help.
