	Angela and Paul It’s a girl! Pricilla Jane (6 lbs. 7 oz), born on 10/30/21 Hi, welcome to Kentucky, the Bluegrass State! Our names are Angela and Paul, and we’re delighted to have this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share some fun facts about our happy family. We are a family of adventurers, no doubt about it. Between the two of us, we’ve traveled to a dozen states and over 47 countries, from our recent vacation to Tokyo’s Disneyland to our years living in South Korea, where we dressed up in red, white, and blue and rooted for USA Hockey at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.




	Marissa It's a girl! Mariah, born on 11-25-2021 Hello, I’m Marissa! I’m happy to have this opportunity to tell you about myself and my amazing family. I’m very fortunate to come from a tight-knit family. My parents are still happily married after more than 54 years, and I have three siblings who live near me. I have achieved significant success in my education and in my life, and with my family’s encouragement and assistance, I am ready to move forward and become a mom. We are all ready to welcome a baby into our family with open arms. The story of my family began when my parents met in Oregon, at Willamette University, before returning to California to finish school at Stanford.




	Lauren and Nick It’s twin girls! Micah Alexandra (4 lbs. 4 oz.) & Joanna Scott (5 lbs. 3 oz), born on 1-3-22 We're Lauren and Nick! Thank you for taking a look at our profile. We’re both 26 years old, and yet we have a long history together. We first met when we were 12 years old, fell in love, started dating when we were 16, got married when we were 21, and have now been married for 5 years. Adoption isn’t new to our family. Lauren has an adopted brother, Isaiah, and two of her brothers are in the process of adopting as well. We have several close friends who have adopted and others who plan to in the future. We're also open to keeping in touch with our child's birth family.




	Amanda and Michael It’s a boy! Logan (7 lbs. 13 oz.), born on 5/24/2022 Hi, we’re Amanda and Michael. Thanks for taking time to learn about us. This collection of photos may not tell the whole story of our family. But the pics do give a sense of our great love for each other, the joy in our home, and the excitement we both feel about the possibility of becoming parents. The two of us love to dance — and so does our black Lab, Tally, the kindest, gentlest dog in America.




	Kristy It's a girl! Adelin Hope (7 lbs. 10 oz) on 5-24-22 My name is Kristy, and I’m delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself! A nurturer to the core, I’ve been an elementary school teacher for 22 years. I’m also an involved auntie to two nieces and one nephew. We have a loving, close family, and I have a strong network of friends. They are all extremely supportive and present in my life. More than anything, I’m excited about becoming a mother, a life-long dream of mine. I was born in California and am the eldest of two daughters.




	Samantha and Lenny It's a boy! Jacob Michael (7 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 5-5-21 Hello, our names are Samantha and Lenny. We’re delighted to have this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share our family’s story. Our love began one winter night in December at an Irish pub in a small Georgia town. We lived in different cities at the time, but when we met, we just clicked and we both knew that somehow fate had brought us together. Lenny wrote his phone number on a napkin, and the rest is history. A year later he proposed during our trip to Disney World, and by the next autumn, we were married.




	Gina and Dave It's a boy! Matthew Julian (7 lbs. 11 oz), born on 12-6-20 Hi, we’re Gina and Dave. Thanks for taking time to read about our family. We’ve been happily married for seven years, and in that time, we’ve gone on some awesome adventures, from hiking the gorgeous trails around our Bay Area home, to visiting family in Scotland, kayaking across California’s Pinecrest Lake, and chasing down soccer balls at our local park with our young nieces and nephews. Being an aunt and uncle has been one of the great joys of our lives.




	Sandra and Walter It's a girl! Bethany (9 lbs. 11 oz), born on 11-29-20 Hello, our names are Sandra and Walter, and this is our seven-year-old daughter Belen. We are delighted to introduce ourselves and our family. We met in Miami, Florida, working together in the same office. Walter received a job offer in Virginia, so we both moved and got married in Northern Virginia. We have been married now for 12 years. Today we live in the Washington metropolitan area. We absolutely love it here. We get to enjoy all four beautiful seasons with Belen, from playing in the snow to going swimming at our community pool, not to mention celebrating the Fourth of July with family and friends. Our house is very close to a lake.





	Cassie and Matt It's a girl! Chandler Clair (6 lbs. 12 oz.), born on 8-11-20 Hello from Team Cassie and Matt! We’re a big, happy family with six boys, one girl, two dogs, three cats and two fun-loving parents. We didn't plan on having such a large family, but being parents to Hunter, Spencer, Reichard, Grayson, Landon, Emerson (Emi), and Hudson has been a great adventure, and now we’re looking forward to expanding our family further through adoption. We live in Southern California, in a quiet town that reminds of our Midwestern roots.




	Sarina and Mathew It's a boy! Joseph William (8 lbs. 11 oz.), born on 8-6-20 My name is Sarina, and my husband is Mat. Both of us are very excited about the possibility of expanding our family through adoption, and we’re delighted to have this chance to tell you about ourselves. Mat is the kindest person I know, and the two of us are ready to become parents. We can provide a warm, loving home for your baby, with full educational opportunity and steady parental support. 	Susanna and James It's a boy! James Thomas (6 lbs. 13 oz), born on 7-13-20 Welcome to our beautiful farm! Our names are Susanna and James, and it’s a pleasure to introduce ourselves to you. We live in an Amish community, where we own more than 115 acres of farmland. On our estate, we have 11 horses, 20 chickens, 250 calves, two vegetable gardens, and a strawberry and blueberry patch. It’s a simple, peaceful way of life focused on faith, family, and community.




	Aimee and Luke It's a boy! James Daniel (7 lbs. 4 oz.), born on 2-29-20 Hello, we are Aimee and Luke, and this is our daughter Anika. We are delighted to introduce ourselves to you! We met through a mutual school friend 17 years ago and have just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. Both of us grew up in Australia, and we moved to the United States six years ago. It’s been a big change, but we love America, live in a great community, and now have a wonderful network of American friends. We adopted Anika three years and are excited about the prospect of expanding our family. Aimee loves being a full-time stay-at-home mom.




	Maggie and Sean It’s a boy! Miles Scott (7 lbs. 6 oz.), born on 3-11-20 Hello, we are Maggie and Sean. Thank you for taking time to learn about our family. We are so excited about prospect of expanding our family through adoption. We met in 2008 at a “Friendsgiving” dinner and were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. Our romance began, and two years later, on the beach during Easter weekend, Sean proposed to Maggie. She said yes, of course! Two and half years after that, we welcomed our daughter Savannah Grace into our the world.




	Jill It's a girl! Emersyn Grace (5 lbs. 5 oz.), born on 11-15-19 Hi, I’m Jill! I am a fun-loving, active young woman who loves life, family, friends, and Jesus. Oh, and a good cup of coffee in the morning too! I am thankful for my small town upbringing, surrounded by my immediate and extended family, and I am excited about the possibility of becoming an adoptive mom. Over the years I have built a career I'm very proud of. I also enjoy being active and trying new adventures, like biking with friends and going on some epic vacations with my family.




	Aubree and Ben It's a girl! Antalya Leen (7 lbs. 6 oz.), born on 12-7-19 Hello, we’re Aubree and Ben, and these are our daughters, Rinnah, who is 3 years old, and Providence, who is 1. We love our children, are excited about adopting, and are delighted to share these pages, which give a glimpse into the great adventure of our lives. Our paths crossed very early, back when we were both in elementary school. Ben was shy, and he waited 12 years to ask Aubree out. Eventually we began dating, and after four years of a long-distance relationship, we got married and became parents.




	Jill and Roberto It's a girl! Victoria Marie (6 lbs. 11 oz.), born on 7-18-19 Hello! Our names are Jill and Roberto. We live in a small town in Northern California. It’s a peaceful community with a vibrant culture and a fantastic education system, a great place, we think, to raise a family. We have a happy marriage and a remarkable love story. We grew up in different corners of the continent, and yet somehow we found each other. Jill was raised in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan; Roberto grew up on the south side of Chicago, more than 1,000 miles away. We first crossed paths when Jill was 19, when she moved to the U.S. for college.




	Beth and Mark It's a girl! Eloise May (5 lbs.), born on 6-29-19 Hi, we are Mark and Beth, and we are so thankful that you are reading our profile. We have had the joy of raising three great children. Mark has two daughters, Sophie, who is 16, and Lucie, who is 15. They live with their mother in Miami. Our son Hamilton is three years old. He has a boundless amount of energy and ensures that we stay very young! We are so excited to add another child to our loving family. We live in Minnesota, though neither of us were born here. Mark was born in England and didn’t come to America until he was in his 30s. Initially he settled in Connecticut, which is where he met Beth.




	Deanna and Jim It's a girl! Charlotte Marie (5 lbs. 1 oz.), born on 7-16-19 Hello! We are Deanna and Jim. Thanks for taking time to learn about us. We have one son, James, who is 28 years old. He comes home on holidays to visit, as he lives in Anchorage, Alaska. Our home is on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Our backyard slopes down to one of the many small lakes that dot the landscape here. We can walk to Cook Inlet from our house and love to stroll on the beach with the dogs, where we often see otters and seals or spot pods of beluga whales. Moose frequently wander through our neighborhood.




	Shelley and Drew It's a boy! Keniseigh Leif (5 lbs. 15.3 oz.), born on 3-8-19 Greetings from Texas! Our names are Shelley and Drew, and this is our three-year-old daughter Kendall. We live in Dallas and are passionate about faith and family. We're excited about expanding our family through adoption. Kendall is excited, too, about becoming a big sister. We believe in providing love, support, and educational opportunity for our children. Kendall began learning sign language at six months, and she started studying Spanish at 18 months. She also attends tap, ballet and gymnastics, which she just loves. These are activities and opportunities we will provide to our next child as well.




	Tina and Carlos It's a boy! Antonio Carlos (7 lbs. 10 oz.), born on 8-22-18 Hi, our names are Tina and Carlos. We have been together for eight years, and we have a big family, including lots of aunts, uncles and cousins who are as excited as we are to welcome a new baby into our family. Adoption has played a prominent role in our family story. Both Tina and her sister were adopted when they were babies. As Tina’s parents told her, she was chosen because she was special. That’s the way we see adoption: as an opportunity to welcome a baby into our home and make our new child feel truly special.




	Heather It's a boy! Grayson Alexander (7 lbs.), born on 11-16-18 Hello, I'm Heather, and I am excited to introduce myself. My commitment to adoption began a few years back, and I am ready to move forward and become a mom. I live in California, in a small, rural community about 45 minutes outside of San Francisco. I bought my home about six years ago with a future family in mind. It is a four-bedroom home with lots of room to raise a child. I have a nice backyard where my dogs can play, and it's right across from the local high school. All the nearby schools are very well ranked.




	Kelsy It's a girl! Christina Star (6 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 11-6-18 Hello! My name is Kelsy. I’m a businesswoman, a technology entrepreneur, and first and foremost, I’m a mother. I have three beautiful young boys — Dakota, Colorado and Wyatt — and we are all excited about expanding our family. We live in Montana, the Big Sky State. Our home is three stories high, with plenty of space to read and relax or play hide and seek. The house is located three miles from a midsize city, which makes it the perfect location for family hikes, biking trips, and backpacking adventures.




	Johnathan and Tony It's twins! Edison Antonio (6 lbs. 12 oz.) & Lucas Wilder (5 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 10-25-18 Hi, we are Johnathan and Tony, and we’re very happy to introduce ourselves. We are incredibly excited to be on this journey to parenthood and couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to adopt and provide a baby with a loving home. We have been together for three and a half years and were married in Paris in January of this year. On our first date we discussed our desire to have children, and as our love grew, it was quickly clear that we had matching philosophies of parenting: unconditional love, education, cultural experiences, and the opportunity to see the world together, as a family.




	Leandra and Darrell It's a boy! Brody Thomas (5 lbs. 10 oz.), born on 10-12-18 Hi, we’re Leandra and Darrell. Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know us. We are excited about our adoption journey and look forward to meeting you. A little about ourselves: Leandra grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, and Darrell grew up in San Diego. We met about 10 years ago through work and have been married for almost six years. A year ago we decided to move to Arizona, and today we live in a great, family-friendly neighborhood with Addison, Logan and Kennedy, our three beautiful children.




	Dina and Zena It's a boy, a brother for Violet Olivia! Elliott John Franklin (6 lbs. 12 oz.), born on 12-6-18 Hi, we’re Dina and Zena. We’ve been partners for four years and spouses since June 2015. The day of our wedding was a wonderful, memorable day, walking through the beautiful woods of Valley Forge Park in southeastern Pennsylvania and pledging to commit our lives to each other. 	Alicia and James It's a boy, a brother for Ezeekial Jonas! Elyas Jamison (7 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 4-23-18 Hi, our names are Alicia and James. We have a beautiful home in the country on eight acres of land, which has been a wonderful place to raise our growing family. We have seven children, spanning a great range from our eldest, Taylor, who is 20, to our youngest, Ezeekial Jonas, who is just one year old. We were delighted to adopt Ezeekial at birth last November, and this year we are hoping to expand our family once again.




	Brooks and Gregg It's a girl! Abigail Marie (6 lbs. 8oz.), born on 6-10-18 Hi! We're Brooks and Gregg, and this is our son, Thomas Allyn. We have been married since November 2013, and we adopted our son at birth in November 2015. We are very excited about expanding our family. Both of us come from close families with strong ties. Church and community are priorities in our lives.




	Marydith and Jeff It's a boy! Myles Cooper (9 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 7-27-18 Hi, we’re Marydith and Jeff, and this is our son Knox. We live in a rural community in the Midwest, on a 25-acre estate that has made a wonderful home for our family. It really is a nature lover’s paradise: We have 12 horses, a pond for fishing, a beautiful river that flows by our house, along with some wild turkeys that love squawking too early in the morning, a Labrador retriever who loves running around the farm, and a cat who enjoys napping in the living room. We adopted Knox a few years ago, and we are excited about expanding our family once again through adoption

	Ashley and Kent It's a boy! Colton James (8 lbs. 14 oz.), born on 4-2-18 Hello! We're Ashley and Kent, and we are glad to meet you. We’re excited to share the story of our family with you. We live in a small town about 45 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and though the town is nice, we are moving soon to an area that will offer even more opportunities for a young child. By mid-June, we will have a home in a nearby suburb and are looking forward to more city parks, a neighborhood filled with kids and young families, and several very good school districts. It will be a great, new chapter to our story, which began in graduate school. We met and became good friends right away.




	Alicia and James It's a boy! Ezeekial Jonas (5 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 11-8-17 Hi, our names are Alicia and James. We have a beautiful home in the country on eight acres of land, which has been a wonderful place to raise our big family. We have six children, spanning a great range from our eldest, Taylor, who is 19, to our youngest, Brielle, who is 1.5 years old and full of joy. All of us are excited to expand our family further through adoption. We are a family of faith. In fact, we met 22 years ago through mutual friends at our church.




	Brenda and Tim It's a girl! Madison Paige (8 lbs. 4 oz.), born on 12-19-17 Hi there! We're Brenda and Tim, and we are so pleased to introduce ourselves. We are thrilled at the possibility of adoption, welcoming a baby into our home as one of our own. Let us tell you a little about ourselves. Brenda was born in West Virginia. Her family got a chance to experience the vast expanse of the country, moving to Indiana and then, when she was 15, on to Tennessee. Brenda’s parents were especially kind and loving people, which made everyone in the neighborhood eager to drop by. In Tennessee, Brenda pursued her passions for gymnastics and cheerleading.




	Kristi and James It's a girl! Cosette (6 lbs. 7 oz.) on 11-15-17 Hi, we’re Kristi and James. We live in northern California, and we’ve been married for almost 15 years. James grew up here, and we’ve been living here now for about 10 years. It’s a beautiful area. We love living near the ocean (you can see it from our backyard!) since we’re both active in surfing, sailing, diving and fishing. Both of us come from big families, with lots of cousins for any children we have to play with.




	Aimee and Luke It's a girl! Anika Jerilee (5 lbs. 14 oz.), born on 9-27-17 Hello, we are Aimee and Luke, and we are happy to introduce ourselves to you! We met through a mutual school friend 14 years ago and have just celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary. Both of us grew up in Australia, and we moved to the United States three years ago. It’s been a big change, but we love America, live in a great community, and now have a wonderful network of American friends. Aimee was born in Sri Lanka but was adopted by an Australian family when she was four months old. Her Australian family was big and loving and supportive, and Aimee loved growing up with two great older brothers. Her adoptive parents always supported her decision to find her birth parents, and in 2004, she reconnected with her birth family in Sri Lanka.




	Kelli and Joe It's a boy! Conner Wesley (7 lbs. 14 oz.), born on 9-15-17 Hello! We are Joe and Kelli, and we are thrilled to introduce ourselves. Both of us come from large, loving families, and we are looking forward to welcoming a child into a family of our own. Our life together has been about good luck and good love from the very beginning. In fact, our first meeting was due to a chance encounter. We had a friend in common, and all three of us happened to be at the same place at the same time. When our friend stepped away, we were left to make small talk — and found out that we had a lot in common.




	Katrina and Craig It's a boy! Callum Steven (7 lbs. 3 oz.), born on 9-7-17 Hello! We are Craig and Katrina. Ever since we were married six years ago, we have hoped to start a family through adoption. We are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents. We live in a small town in the Colorado mountains that is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty. Our community is defined by how family-oriented it is and how neighborly the people are. Years ago, when our town experienced some terrible flooding, we all came together and helped our neighbors in need. Soon our town was revitalized.




	Kim and Noah It's a girl! Jubilee Rose (9 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 8-19-17 Hi, our names are Kim and Noah. We are a family formed through adoption, and we are elated by the possibility of growing our family even bigger. Both of us come from big families, and our goal is to have a big family of our own. Parenthood has been the best stage of our marriage. Since adopting our two beautiful sons, Kelvin and Kai, our family has gone on all kinds of adventures together. You’ll find us hiking in the mountains of California and building sandcastles at a beach just a short drive from our home.

	Jina It's a boy! Jack Joseph (6 lbs. 13 oz.), born on 12-19-17 Hi, I’m Jina. It’s so nice to get this opportunity to share a little about myself. My life has been blessed with an incredible family, amazing friends, and a successful career, which has allowed me to travel all over the world. I have visited the beautiful beaches of Melbourne, Australia, and savored the delicious pasta in southern Italy. Back home, I’m based in southern California, where I’m a partner at a film and television company. I love my work because it gives me the opportunity to tell the stories of amazing people.




	Emily and Enrique It's a boy! Mateo Anthony (8 lbs. 11 oz.), born on 6/13/16 Hello from sunny California! Our names are Emily and Enrique. We thank you for taking a moment to learn more about our family. Our family’s story begins seven years ago. We met shortly after Emily moved to California and have been inseparable ever since. In 2011, we got married in Enrique's home country of Honduras, surrounded by our family and friends. It was a beautiful celebration.




	Abbey and Sam It's a girl! Gabriella Paris (7 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 11/19/16 Hello, we’re Abbey and Sam, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to share our family’s story. We have one child, our wonderful son Douglas, and all three of us are excited about the prospect of expanding our family through adoption. Parenthood has changed our lives and shifted the way we see the world. For one thing, it has given us a deeper appreciation of our neighborhood, with all of its family-oriented facilities. We spend a lot of time at the nearby park, which has a great jungle gym and a beautiful field for baseball and soccer.




	Dakota and Ryan It's a girl! Sawyer (7 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 12/10/16 Hello, our names are Dakota and Ryan. We are so grateful that you are taking time to read our profile. We live in a small town in Utah and are lucky enough to have both of our families within a 10-mile radius. Having family nearby means a lot of big adventures, like family hiking expeditions, camping, fishing and, in the winter, snowmobiling. We love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit some pretty amazing places, all the way from Peru to Washington, D.C., with stops at a few of our beautiful national parks. Of course, parenthood will be our greatest adventure. Dakota is planning on being a stay-at-home mom.





	Catherine and Jason It's a boy! Loki Valentine (6 lbs. 3 oz.), born on 12/23/16 Hi! We’re Catherine and Jason, and we are so excited to introduce ourselves. The title of our letter should probably be “Jason, Catherine and Aria.” Aria is Jason's four-year-old daughter. She spends every other weekend with us and is an absolute delight. Needless to say, Aria is quite excited about becoming a big sister. Let us tell you a little about our home and our farm. We moved recently away from the city and out to the country. Jason has a passion for growing things, and we are starting an organic vegetable farm that specializes in heirloom varieties and is based on the farm-to-table paradigm.




	Mark and Aaron It's a boy! Andrew Logan (7 lbs. 11oz.), born on 3/14/16 Hi, we are Mark and Aaron, and this is our son Daniel. Thank you for considering us for your child’s adoptive family. Our family started 13 years ago, when we met here in North Carolina. We met one evening with a group of friends who had gotten together to watch an episode of "Survivor." On that day no one could have predicted our future. In fact, our future didn’t really begin then. When the show ended, we shook hands and went our separate ways. It wasn't until two years later, in May 2004, that our story would begin anew when we met again at a friend’s housewarming party. We have now been together for 11 years.




	Claire It's a girl! Cassandra Elizabeth (7 lbs. 4 oz.), born on 11/4/16 Hi, my name is Claire, and this youngster here at my side is my nephew. I am 28 years old, and my hope is to build a wonderful family through adoption, to create a safe and happy home for a newborn baby. I live in western Michigan area. My neighborhood is a great place for families, with museums, botanical gardens, and a beautiful zoo within driving distance. My parents, my sister and her family, and my brother and his fiancée all live within 20 minutes of my home, which turns Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all the family birthdays into true gatherings of family.




	Fern and Nathan It's a boy! Michael Elijah (7 lbs. 13 oz.), born on 10/14/16 Hello! We are Fern and Nathan, and this is our one-year-old son, Gabriel. Gabriel came to us through adoption, and we are very excited to adopt again. We married three years ago and are enjoying our new adventure as a family. Nathan works as a mechanic and part-time truck driver for a good friend from our church. I love being a stay-at-home mom, taking care of Gabriel. God has brought us together, and we believe that He has wonderful things in store for our family.




	Courtnee and Chris It's a boy! Two-year-old Isaiah on 8/5/16 Hi, and thank you for your interest in our family! We are Chris and Courtnee, and we are so happy to introduce ourselves and our five children. We love being parents to Tai, Derek, Seth, Bethany, and Luke and are so excited to add an eighth member of our family. We live in a small town in a rural county, a close-knit community with about 3,000 residents. Both of our extended families live within driving distance. Between us, that means aunts and uncles, some lovingly doting grandparents, and 20 cousins for our frequent family gatherings. We have at least three family get-togethers every year, including our Fourth of July BBQ, the Cousins Camp-Out, and our Family Harvest Party each October.




	Rachel and Charlie It's a boy! Samuel Henry (6 lbs. 5 oz.), born on 9/1/16 Hi! We're Charlie and Rachel, and we are happy to introduce ourselves and our two children, Hannah and Charles. We love kids and are excited about expanding our family through adoption. We live in the southeastern U.S., on about an acre of land. Needless to say, there is plenty of room for kids to run and play outside. Our home is in a gated community, a safe and child-friendly neighborhood. Many of our neighbors have young children, and all of our kids love spending time at the nearby playground and community pool.




	Debbie and Moti It's a boy! Levi Justin Ray (8 lbs. 3 oz.), born on 7/19/16 Hi, our names are Moti and Debbie, and this is our daughter, Penelope. We live in the Bay Area, in a beautiful, family-friendly community. We love raising Penelope here and are very excited about the prospect of adding another child to our family. Let us tell you a little about ourselves. As a member of the U.S. military, Moti served four tours of duty in Afghanistan. Today he works in the digital field, designing mobile applications. Debbie has a technology background as well, having spent years in graphic design, though she’s equally passionate about her hobbies, like yoga and cycling.




	Joseph It's girl! Sydney Lynn (5 lbs. 14 oz.), born on 6/29/16 Hi there! I'm Joe, and I'm excited to introduce myself. As I embark on this journey towards parenthood, I find myself appreciating even more the amazing bunch of family and friends who are part of my life. I look forward to celebrating with them the arrival of my new little one and am thrilled that adoption can help me fulfill my dream of becoming a dad. One of the values I plan to pass on to my child is the importance of education. I got my bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and have since earned a master's in business. I am now working on my doctorate, also in business.




	Kristi and James It's a boy! Four-year-old Johnny Hi, we’re James and Kristi from Northern California. James grew up here, and we’ve been living here together since our wedding 11 years ago. We have very close relationships with both of our families, and everyone is very supportive and excited about our choice to adopt. We love living near the ocean (you can see it from our backyard) since we’re both active in surfing, sailing, diving and fishing. We love to travel as well and have visited locations around the world.




	Wendy and Brian Hi! We're Brian and Wendy, and we live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ten years ago we started an instant family, when we met and married with two wonderful kids in tow: Dylan, who is Brian’s son from a previous marriage, and Hayley, who is Wendy’s daughter from a prior relationship. In 2012, we had a little miracle of our own, Harlow. She is a cutie pie, and it’s hard to believe she’s going to be three soon! We feel very lucky to have found one another. We love being parents and are excited about expanding our family through adoption.




	Deborah and Alex It's girl! Lyra Rose (6 lbs. 8 oz.), born on 1/18/16 Hello! Our names are Alex and Deborah, and we’re truly grateful that you have taken time to learn our family’s story. We are both doctors, and we met late one night nine years ago when we were both surgery residents. Alex was chief of plastic surgery, and Deborah was working an intern. After our first date, Alex called his best friend said, “I’m going to marry that girl.” And two years later, he did. For the last seven years, we have been so blessed with a marriage of happiness and mutual understanding.




	Judy It's girl! Sarah Rachel (7 lbs. 1 oz.), born on 9/23/15 Hello there! I’m Judy, and this young one next to me is my beautiful niece Leah. I love children and have always enjoyed my time with her. We have been singing together since she was a toddler. I think it’s important to find special talents in children, to nurture their self-esteem and expand their horizons. I'm so proud of Leah, as she recently auditioned for the Albuquerque Youth Choir and was one of the youngest singers selected. Beyond my wonderful extended family, I am single and don’t currently have any children. I am excited about becoming a parent through adoption. I retired three years ago from the military and own a gorgeous home in New Mexico.




	Carter and Cliff We are Carter and Cliff, and this is our loveable dog Dash. We are excited about adopting and happy to tell you about ourselves. We met in 2009 in New York City, at a friend’s birthday party. We made eye contact from across the room, and immediately Carter walked up to Cliff and introduced himself. It was an instant connection that led to several dates, lots of travel, and in 2011 purchasing a weekend country home together in upstate New York. On June 22, 2013, with many of our friends and family there to witness, we got married on the front steps of our country home. Shortly after getting married, Cliff was offered a fantastic opportunity in Los Angeles to work for a leading biotechnology company.




	Brooks and Gregg Hi! We're Brooks and Gregg, and we are so pleased to introduce ourselves. We have been together for three years and have been married since November 2013. We are very excited to take the next step and become parents. Both of us come from close families with strong ties. Family, church, and community are all priorities in our lives, and our friends and family have been so supportive and encouraging as we take the next steps in the process of adoption. Our lives are quite active. We love to travel and can't wait to eventually travel as a family, to show our child the wonders of the world we live in.




	Jaica and Ben Hi! We're Jaica and Ben, and we are so happy to introduce ourselves. Both of us come from very close, very loving families, and we are looking forward to adding our own child into our wonderful family group. We have known each other for three and a half years and have been married for three of those years. In our case, it really was love at first sight! Our first date was on New Year's Day. Neither of us could find a good restaurant for dinner, so Ben suggested we meet at a local Arby's and decide where to go once we got there. But instead of going on to somewhere romantic, we stayed and talked for hours.




	Kathy and Peter Our names are Peter and Kathy. We were married in 2010, and we are very excited about the prospect of adoption. We're delighted to share the story of our seven years together, a time of respect, love, music and travel with our sidekick, our beloved dog George. We live in Connecticut, in a town halfway between New York City and Boston. With only 29,000 residents, our town offers the charm of small-town life with enough great restaurants, neighborhood barbeques, and art galleries to keep things interested. Our home is a nice work of art itself. It was built in 1930 and is surrounded by a wide assortment of trees and flowers, from holly and fir trees to azaleas and camellias.




	Colleen and Garret It's a "homegrown" boy! Mac Williams (4 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 7/5/15 Hi, we're Garret and Colleen, and that little munchkin in the middle is our daughter Peyton. We love being parents and are ready to add to our family through adoption. Thank you for considering us for the priviledge of being your baby's parents. We met in 2001, when Colleen was in her last year of college and Garret was a nuclear field electrician in the Navy. Today Garret is a stay-at-home dad, and Colleen is a division manager at a nonprofit research and development institute. We live a balanced life and take time off whenever needed for family events, like attending Peyton's school activities and sports games.




	Layna and Josh It's a boy! Ephraim Joshua (7 lbs. 14 oz.), born on 8/4/15 We are Josh and Layna, and we have been married for 3.5 years. We enjoy a quiet, rural life, living and working on very own farm in Washington State. Our farm consists of 160 acres of apple and cherry trees. Josh works here on the farm, which gives him extra time to be at home, while Layna is a housewife. She loves to cook and garden. Summers are exciting times around here, since we’re busy getting our fruit picked. In our down time, we enjoy taking drives through the orchard and soaking in the wonders of the peaceful outdoors. In the winter, we have time to take longer family trips. One of our favorite places is Ohio, where we get to spend time with Josh’s brother and his family.




	Valerie and Ken It's a girl! Brittany Marie (8 lbs. 9 oz.), born 7/15/15 Hello, our names are Ken and Valerie, and this is our daughter, Danielle. Nearly six years ago we adopted Danielle. It has been the most wonderful six years. The only thing that could make it better is expanding our family once again, sharing our lives with another child. Both of us come from large, close-knit families. We know that the bond between brothers and sisters is incomparable, and we want our children to know that joy. In addition to an older sister, a child joining our family would also know the love and friendship of nine nearby cousins, ranging in age from newborn to 10 years old.




	Gina and Lou It's a girl! Madaline Grace (8 lbs. 2 oz.), born on 7/5/15 Hello, our names are Lou and Gina, and we’re delighted to have this opportunity to tell you about our lives. We have known each other for 15 fantastic years. This October we will be celebrating our fourth anniversary. We live in South Dakota, in a remarkable city that has a great, small-town feel. In our neighborhood there are a plethora of activities for children, such as swimming, dancing and gymnastic, and all kinds of sport, like softball, basketball and volleyball. There is an incredible array of parks near us too, with some gorgeous rivers, fields and bike trails.




	Kathy and Pete It's a boy! Everett Stephen (9 lbs. 11 oz.), born on 6/29/15 Hi! We’re Pete and Kathy. We are happily married and live outside of Washington, D.C. Our story begins 13 years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina, when we first met at a comedy club. A week later we had our first date and have been together ever since. We knew that we wanted to raise a family and were so excited when our son Nathan was born six years ago. He is such a sweet and caring boy, and he is eager to become a big brother. Words can’t express how excited we are to welcome another child into our family.




	Jeff and George It's a girl! Violet (8 lbs. 11 oz.), born on 5/28/15 Hi, our names are Jeff and George. We're excited about adopting and delighted to share our story. We live in a wonderful neighborhood in San Francisco, a diverse and beautiful city that would make a great hometown for a child. We have a warm network of family and friends in San Francisco and across the U.S. and Canada. Every Christmas we head to the mountains of Colorado to spend the holiday with George’s family. The connection was instantaneous, and we started dating soon after. Two years later Conor proposed, and exactly a year after that we got married. We met in 2001 at mutual friend's engagement party. The night was filled with noise and commotion, but we when we began talking with each other, we felt so connected that all that noise faded into the background. By the end of the night, we knew that we wanted to start a relationship. And after 13 months of dating, on New Year's Day 2003, we got engaged on the top of the Empire State Building.




	Gwen and Rick Hi! We're Rick and Gwen, and we are so happy to introduce ourselves. We have known each other for 18 years and have been married for 8 years. We met in 1990, when Gwen interning at a Texas hospital. Rick was living in Arizona but came home to Texas to visit family. We had a great first date, then kept in touch over the next few years. But by the time Rick moved back to Texas, Gwen had taken a job that had her traveling around the country. Through all the years and distance, there was something about our friendship that kept us in touch. We began a long-distance relationship before finally deciding that we needed to be in the same city.

She has been my greatest pleasure in my life, and I am looking forward to adding another child to our family. When I decided to adopt, my mother and I bought a home together. Let me tell you a little about my life here in San Francisco. I was born in this wonderful city and still live here today. I have a love for the outdoors and enjoy taking long walks along Ocean Beach and through Golden Gate Park. Health, fitness and gardening are three of my passions. I take yoga classes, and I maintain my own garden. My garden sports a diverse range of flowers. Every year I plant a new rose bush.

I, Margaret Lynece, was born in San Diego, California, on March 8, 1972. And our beloved son, Nikolay Terje, was born in Magadan, Russia, on September 28, 2004.

I live outside of Orlando, on Florida’s beautiful east coast, just a few miles from Disney World and the warm sands of our famous beaches. I have a wonderful life here in the Sunshine State. We live in the Midwest and have been happily married for eight years. Since our wedding day our love has grown even deeper, and we are so excited about the prospect of becoming parents. 	Catherine Hi, my name is Catherine, and I'm delighted to share my story with you. I love my work as a nurse and am excited to take on the greatest job of all, being a mother. I live in a very child-friendly neighborhood with a lot of parks and playgrounds. It's also a great community for hiking and bike riding, two of my favorite hobbies. I love to stay active, and when I'm not hiking and biking, I'm doing yoga or heading off to the mountains to go skiing with friends.




	Roger and Kelly Hello, we are Roger and Kelly, and this is our beautiful daughter, Onika. We met 15 years ago while on a military assignment in the Midwest and immediately were inseparable because of our shared sense of humor and ability to make each other laugh. And we are still laughing after being married for 11 years. We have a wonderful home, supportive family and friends, strong marriage, and are excited to expand our family through adoption. Our daughter is extremely excited to be a big sister and is "ready to teach [her] new sibling everything."




	Jeff and Lynn Hi, we're Jeff and Lynn, and this is our story. Our lives together began in 2009. We had an amazing friendship, and eventually our friendship grew into true love. We were married in April 2012. Our paths had actually crossed several times before we began to date. We both attended the same school. Jeff was a few years older in school and was very active in sports, while Lynn was active in music: band, orchestra and choir.




	Malachy and Kilmeny Hello, we are Malachy and Kilmeny. Some say we were destined to be together because of our unique Irish names, and we definitely agree. Thanks for taking a moment to read about our family. We were blessed to adopt our beautiful daughter, Stephanie, in 2010. She fit right in with her two big brothers, Malachy and Kevin. Now we all excited to have more little ones running around our home, in addition, that is, to our beloved four-legged family member, Blaise.

	Aaron and Mark Hi, our names are Aaron and Mark. Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about our family. We have been together for eight years and are excited about expanding our family through adoption. We live in North Carolina, in a beautiful neighborhood with some fantastic parks and a wonderful, little creek running through our backyard. A special member of our family is Jackson, our miniature schnauzer. He's the cutest, gentlest dog and a real favorite of the children in our neighborhood.




	Trevor and Shannon Hello! Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about us. We are a happy family of three: Trevor (age 40), Shannon (age 34), and Sophia (almost 2!). Oh, and we can’t forget our first two babies: Mika and Toby, our puggles (pug/beagle mixes). Shannon has a master's degree in accounting, and Trevor has a master's in national security studies. We are both Army veteran linguists—Shannon speaks Korean, and Trevor speaks Russian and Serbo-Croatian—and enjoy travelling all over the world. Shannon is thrilled to be a stay-at-home mom to Sophia, our beautiful adopted baby girl.




	Zane and Michele Hi, we're Zane and Michele. Thank you for reading our letter. We love being parents and are excited about expanding our family. Our son Cyrus was born in June 2007, and he is the greatest gift we have ever received. Our relationship with his birthparents makes us true believers in the wonders of open adoption. We can't wait to adopt another child and create the family we have always hoped for. We met in college and have been together ever since.




	Kevin and Maria It's a boy! Sheridan (8 lbs. 3 oz.), born on 2-20-12 Hi, our names are Kevin and Maria. Thanks for learning more about our family. We have been married for several years and have a relationship based on love and commitment. We are very excited to become parents through adoption. Our home is in Colorado, in a great community with some beautiful parks and a strong school system. Kevin is the head master of a local school, and Maria has worked in programming. Parenting will be our first priority, and Maria is looking forward to staying home with the baby.




	Jeff and Bennesa It's a girl! Anneliese Danette (8 lbs. 10 oz.), born on 9-2-11 Hi! We are Jeff and Bennesa, and this is our son, Jayden. We have a wonderful family story to tell. We met 16 years ago through a mutual friend. After six years of dating, we married and just celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary. We adopted our son Jayden four years ago. That first adoption was a wonderful experience, and we are looking forward to sharing our love with a new baby. Jayden is also looking forward to becoming an older brother.




	Jeff and Karen Hello from the Silicon Valley. Our names are Jeff and Karen, and we want to thank you for reading our letter. We are very excited about becoming parents and look forward to providing a child with a loving home and every opportunity to succeed. We're an active couple, and we share a passion for hiking and camping. On weekdays you'll probably find us out with our two dogs, Rascal and Abby. On weekends, we head to the beach and enjoy the many benefits of the San Francisco Bay Area. Both of us love sports. Jeff enjoys playing soccer and basketball, and Karen is passionate about swimming and tennis.




	Jo My name is Jo, and I want to thank you for reading my letter. I am excited about becoming a mother and am looking forward to providing a baby with a warm and loving home. My parents and siblings are just as excited as I am to welcome another member into our family. They say it takes a village, and here in Dallas we have a great group of family and friends who are eager to help. Texas has always been home to me. 	Laura It's a boy! Aiden Michael (8 lbs.), born 12-6-11 Hello, my name is Laura. I have been blessed with a very good life: a loving family, many wonderful friends, an excellent career, good health and a beautiful home in a phenomenal neighborhood. I am very excited to become a parent. Until now, I have been an active aunt, godmother and stepmother. I have also been a Big Sister to a teenager in my community. Now I would like to raise a child of my own. Let me tell you more about my family. I grew up in a small community in Florida just two blocks from the ocean. We were really fortunate to have the beach so nearby.




	Robert and Lauren Hello! We're Robert and Lauren. We want to thank you for considering us as parents for your baby. Our relationship is one of love and respect. It began as a deep friendship before it became something more. After three years of dating, we got married and have been together now for 12 years. We are very excited to adopt. Lauren is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom, and in his job as an accounting manager, Robert works a fairly regular 9-to-5 schedule, which means he will have lots of "dad time."




	Arnold and Nannette Hi, we're Arnold and Nannette. Thanks for taking time to read our letter. As we prepare to expand our family through adoption, we hope to get the opportunity to meet you and tell you more about our story. We met in Chicago, riding bicycles along the lakefront. Arnold was training for a charity event, and Nannette was unwinding after an overnight shift at the hospital. We rode and talked, and when we got to Nannette's neighborhood, we biked our separate ways. Less than a week later, fate found us riding side by side again.




	Jake and Jen Hello! We're Jake and Jen. We appreciate this opportunity to tell you about our family and our love of being parents. We have a beautiful three-year-old boy, Jude, and we are excited to expand our family through adoption. We live in northern California, on a cul de sac across the street from a fantastic park. It's a great place for our active lifestyle. We love biking and hiking, and in the winter, we head to the mountains for snowboarding and family fun.
